With the 250th that started earlier, even before the commemoration of the Boston Tea Party, we have spent a year reminiscing from the time of incident at Lexington and Concord until now, with July 4th coming up. Examples: Knox Sunday; Cannons from Ticonderoga; Regimental series.
We need a 250th category, perhaps, with a few subthemes. In the companion blog, we have been busy and thought it time to get this blog doing posts again, too. We start with an in-law of the Lunts. Ann's grandfather, Alfred Eastman Lunt, married Mildred Kallen. This is about her sister: Deborah Kallen who was an Educational Pioneer.
Deborah moved to Israel in 1920 to found a school. Some of her students were later quite well known.
This post is an example of covering the American Spirit and Dream from the view of 400+ and 250, as well as any other anniversary within that range. With the prominent focus being, of course, New England, Massachusetts, and then Essex County with its Cape Ann.
---
So, over seven years, we'll cover the old and new, the left and the right (coasts), the local and the global, and by sea or by land. The combinations are endless. The technology if used correctly will help us generate remarkable results. Let's just keep it real and on the proper beam (say from Winthrop's light on the hill).
